Some unnecessary highlights...
It's such a shocking news when you hear that a one-hit-wonder singer (back in the 90's), now is a dead-man. Alda Risma, the Aku Tak Biasa singer, was found dead Tuesday night, at one hotel in Matraman. I was shocked. I wasn't a big fan of her song, I didn't buy her album too, but still, her death is a shocking one. She got an accident a few months ago, and she survived. Then she just disappeared. Vanished. Many papparazis tried to interview her but she was gone. Now, papparazis have found her, unable to speak.
I still am shocked.

So I just bought the latest Tempo magazine because there was an article about Jiffest and Babel. I was curious and excited. When I'd got home, I ran into the bathroom and boker and brought that magazine along with me. Bacabacabaca. Yup, Babel. I was soo excited and couldn't wait for Saturday. Bacabacabaca. Suddenly...

By the way, I bought 6 DVDs today. Babel, Running with Scissors, Little Children, Children of Men, The Queen, and Look Both Ways. 3 di antaranya mau gw tonton di Jiffest, jadi musti nahan diri.

Gw berencana hari ini mau ntn Jiffest gratisan. Ntn Opera Jawa. Tapi apa mau dikata, untung tak dapat diraih, keabisan tiket gratisan. Huhu... Padahal udah nunggu-nunggu.
Eh, tau-taunya di EX ketemu ama Christine Hakim dan pemain Opera Jawa, Artika Sari Devi. Hohoho, minimal bisa ngelihat artisnya.

Sedikit Review:
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
Lucu. Bagus. Moving. Original. Superbly acted. Abigail Breslin is cute! Watch this movie.
Pas gw nonton hari ketiga Jiffest, rame bo! Tapi nggak ampe penuh. We were all very enthusiastic. Paul Dano was great, Toni Collette was good, Alan Arkin was marvelous, Greg Kinnear-Steve Carrell were good, and Abigail Breslin was undoubtedly the next big thing. Lucuu.

Hohoho, this was such a unique flick. Agak komedi, agak drama, agak thriller, agak horor, agak feminis juga. Imagine, our 5 main characters were ALL WOMEN. Wanita bertebaran di mana-mana sepanjang film. Tapi satu yang bikin menarik: Twist. Yup, this movie gave us a twist di menjelang akhir film. Apa itu?? Nonton aja ndiri.
MARIE ANTOINETTE
I lovelovelove the artistic direction of this movie. Sofia Coppola has obviously done a greatgreat job. The music was great too. The songs, aargh, I have to buy the soundtrack CD! Kirsten Dunst was lovely.

Padahal nyaris aja gw ama Mutti nggak bisa ntn Marie Antoinette gara-gara Patas AC 102 sialan yang kagak lewat-lewat di Margonda. Bayangin, kita nunggu 1,5 jam (ampe jam 5) cuma buat nunggu tuh bus. Gila! Akhirnya, project kamikaze dilaksanakan. Gw ama Mutti langsung naek bus Kopaja jurusan Blok M. Di jalan maceet panjaang. Parah. Gw ama Mutti udh pasrah. Eh, emang yang namanya rejeki kagak lari ke mana, pas nyampe Djakarta Theatre, pas bangetbanget filmnya mulai. We didn't miss any single scene of the movie. Haha, eat that you fucking 102s' drivers!!!

Oia, jadi tadi waktu lg mau salat Magrib di CCF, tiba-tiba kakek-kakek di sebelah gw zikir + baca doa kenceng-kenceng. Trus ada beberapa line doa yang completely moved me:
